Johan Skytte Institute of Political Studies at the University of Tartu combines top-level research with a dynamic, international learning environment at all three levels of higher education. The Institute belongs to the top 10 best departments of politics in the Nordic-Baltic region and 101-150 Politics & International Studies departments in the world (according to QS World University Rankings 2022). The Institute has built up considerable competences in Eastern European Studies and actively involved in various initiatives to advance online learning.
There are different needs and challenges that should be considered by the staff members of our institute and university: *How to ensure smooth integration of new innovative teaching methods and technologies in courses and enable consistent dissemination and diffusion of know-how among the faculty/university staff members;

*How to effectively combine and adopt various teaching methods to address students’ needs and equip them with contemporary labour skills.
The proposed project application aims to develop a join micro-credentials program for civil servants and professionals working in the public administration, local and national governmental bodies, which enhance their digital skills and expand their knowledge about digitalization strategies of governmental services. The program will be created in collaboration with other European partnering institutions (universities and potentially organizations representing private sector).
